April 13: Recent immigrates from Japan

Friday, March 30th, 2012

A project by a student at Loyola’s Social Justice and Community Development program is conducting the following look at 6 cultural categories; Attitude Towards Age, Concept of Fate and Destiny, Attitude Towards change, Attitude Towards Taking Risks, Concept of Face, and View of the Natural World among recent immigrates from Japan (Individuals who have been in the US less then 2 Years).

You would talk with an interviewer about 24 scenarios, and would be asked to respond to questions from your cultural perspective about the situations (How would you respond to the scenario? How would your culture respond? How would a typical American respond).

For more information, or if you’re willing to participate within the next few weeks, please contact:
