Aikido Family/Children’s Introductory Class: 10.24.2009 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Japanese Culture Center in Burbank (Soshinkan Dojo) welcomes families and kids of all ages to try a class in the martial art developed in Japan this October 24, 2009 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Aikido is safe and beneficial for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Aikido is known to:
- increase self confidence
- assist in self defense and physical coordination
- help learn discipline

Aikido Seminar to Help Benefit the Young Survival Coalition and Cut the Cancer

The Aikido Resolutions Foundation is teaming up again with The Young Survival Coalition. We will hold a one day traditional Aikido seminar at their new facility in Arlington Heights on October 17, 2009.

The first session of the seminar (9-11 am) will be geared for new students. This will be a great opportunity to come out and see our space and to see what Aikido is all about.

At 11 am there will be a ½ hour Cut The Cancer class.  The afternoon (1:00-3:30) will be an intermediate class. At 6 pm The Young Survival Coalition will be hosting their first annual fund raiser at Durty Nellies.
