Fundraiser for the Geopolis Theater Company and Japanese Culture Center on 2/11/2011

The Geopolis Theater Company and the Japanese Culture Center will be hosting a joint fundraiser at Matilda/Baby Atlas on February 11th, 2011 from 8 pm to 11 pm.
A $30 donation will provide you with entry to the event with access to the open bar.
There will also be a silent auction, as well as, a cash raffle. Dramatic and humorous readings of love letter and breakup email will be performed in addition to live music.

The Japanese Culture Center and the Geoplois Theater Company ( a new non-for-profit theatre company) will raising monies for the Aikido International Foundation (a 501-c-3, non-for-profit) and to help finance the 2010 season of the GTC.
For a $15 donation at the door, you get access to Matlida / Baby Atlas Bar for three hours. A live DJ will be providing music and there will be a dessert bar including mini brownies, truffles, chocolate covered strawberries and more. You donation will also provide access for drink specials of $4 well drinks, $4 draft beers, and $5 glasses of wine.
There will also be a raffle for such items as restaurant and bar gift certificates, tickets to Geopolis’s upcoming production of “Find Hakamadare”, and more.
There will be a Valentine’s Day theme, or a Valentine’s Sucks, if you are so inclined. Please, feel free to bring pictures of your previous significant other that can be shredding in protest of the couples holiday.
