Sculpt irresistible creatures from a handful of fluff! Learn how to sculpt using wool with a barbed felting needle to make 3-D figures. Needle felting does not involve wetting fibers; it is a free form craft.

Instructor Bio:


Renée Blixt, MBA, holds degrees from Purdue University and Krannert Business School. She has studied crochet, knitting, needle felting and embroidery from an early age. Blixt Sensei is a member of the Crochet Guild, The Knitting Guild Association and the Embroidery Guild of America. She is currently studying Temari under Kyoju Barbara B. Seuss and Jane Compeau Sensei of the Japanese Temari Association.


Blixt Sensei has taught for many years, most notably at the School of the Art Institute  and  the  American  Academy  of  Art.  She  owns  a  tutoring  business  that  was  established  in  1987. Blixt Sensei has also contributed articles to online knit and crochet magazines.
