S.U.N.N.Y. Self Defense:
S.U.N.N.Y. stands for Strong, Unarmed, Not intimidated, Never defenseless, Your body.
Self-defense begins with prevention. In this class you will be introduced to self-defense techniques including situational awareness, using boundaries to test intent, assessing vulnerabilities in an attacker, and escaping from different attacks.
About Susan:
Susan Dutton, Sensei, has been practicing Aikido since 2009. She was made an assistant instructor in 2014, and has been the senior instructor at AiSeiShinKan Dojo since 2017. She holds her teaching certificate with the Aikido Association of America. Susan has also been teaching self-defense since 2014 and loves to watch people become empowered. In her professional life Susan is a consultant and coach, specializing in leadership development and building an empowered culture through emotional intelligence and martial arts principles.
