Easy, Simple Japanese Cooking
In this course, you will learn how to make simple, yet delicious Japanese meals, using available resources. All you need is your basic cooking skills and a few Japanese items, such as sushi rice, and many other familiar ingredients. Lessons will be in English and no special cooking techniques or Japanese language skills are required for this course.
Textbook: Recipes are provided for each class. You can access the recipe document and zoom information via the Eventbrite confirmation and reminder emails after you register.
Cost: $30 per class, 4 classes in series
Course Schedule: Sundays 4-5pm. You do not need to attend all classes in the session, each one will have individual registration and payment through Eventbrite.
Week 1 (June 19): Japanese style curry and rice
Week 2 (June 26) : Teriyaki chicken
Week 3 (July 3) : Temaki zushi (home-style sushi)
Week 4 (July 10) : Tonjiru (Miso-soup)
