Virtual November Needlefelting Workshop

Sculpt irresistible creatures from a handful of fluff! Learn how to sculpt using wool with a barbed felting needle to make 3-D figures.

Description

Needle felting does not involve wetting fibers; it is a free form craft.

Materials

  • Needle
  • Foam
  • Wool fibers

Basic Techniques:

  • Needling
  • Rolling
  • Flat shapes
  • Scultping
  • Finishing

**All materials are included. Each student will receive a re-usable kit.

Instructor Bio:

Renée Blixt, MBA has studied crochet, knitting and embroidery from an early age. She is a member of the Crochet Guild, The Knitting Guild Association and the Japanese Temari Association. She has contributed to various publications. Also, Blixt Sensei has taught for many years, most notably at the School of the Art Institute as well as various other colleges.
