Please join State Representatives Sara Feigenholtz for a?Free?Women?s?Self-Defense?Seminar?Saturday, June 15th from 12:30 p.m. -? 4:30 p.m. at the Japanese Culture Center (1016 W Belmont Ave. ? Chicago)!
Have you ever wondered if you would be able to defend yourself if the need arose; or even better, avoid a difficult situation in the first place? You are not alone! This course is designed to help you confront those exact challenges. We encourage you to RSVP right away as space is extremely limited!
Rep. Feigenholtz partnership with the Japanese Culture Center are offering self-defense classes to help?women keep themselves safe wherever they go.?Participants will learn self-defense skills based on concepts from the Japanese martial art of Aikido, including boundary setting and situational awareness, two important components of self-defense.
This class will build on lessons from the May 11th course but will include a review of key concepts from that class. There will be time for a Q&A. Newcomers are warmly welcomed to attend!?
