We will explore its history\, basic terminology\, and the unique culture of the Kendo community. Participants will get a hands-on experience learning fundamental strikes and footwork\, followed by a live demonstration of a match. \n*Note to Participants: Please wear comfortable gym attire. Following the closure of the Sugiyama Dojo\, Miyoga Kendo Club transitioned to the Japanese Culture Center\, where we now welcome anyone seeking to learn and enjoy the art of Kendo.
