WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a Japanese healing art that was developed in Japan in the 1920’s by Usui Mikao. The original name was “shin shin kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho” which can be translated as the Usui healing method for the improvement of body and mind. The method has 5 main elements that include breath meditation, the precepts, symbols and mantras, hands-on healing and the Reiju or blessings.

HOW CAN REIKI HELP YOU?

The practice of Reiki brings balance and harmony in body, mind and energy. It strengthens the body-mind connection allowing to us relax, center ourselves, gain clarity, find peace, and develop a deep connection within ourselves and with the world around us. The practice of Reiki restores the body’s natural rhythm and equilibrium allowing healing to happen.

If you are interested to learn the system of Reiki, please check our in-person classes on our calendar or contact us.
