Program limited to 6 participants with a minimum of 2 participants.
Live attendance, no recording. If absence there will be possibility for a make-up.
Possibility to certify in Reiki I Shoden after completion of an additional 4 hours in-person practice.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Are you interested in exploring the Usui system of Reiki in its traditional Japanese form? Are you keen on establishing or consolidating your practice? Do you wish to learn how to cultivate balance and harmony in your life? Are you drawn to live more fully and mindfully, with greater presence, compassion and wellbeing?
This 8-week online program invite participants to explore and practice the Japanese healing art of Reiki “Usui Reiki Ryoho”. It will enable them to learn the foundational elements of the practice, engage actively in their own journey of healing and personal growth, and develop a solid foundation for a life-long personal practice benefiting all.
This program includes live lectures, visuals, self-practice, interactive discussions, personal reading and reflections, and on-going support from the teacher and access to the International House of Reiki community. It is suitable for those individuals interested in living life more mindfully, as well as for those wishing to solidify an existing personal or professional practice.
Certification: Participants will be able to earn a Reiki Level I / Shoden certificate and receive a a training manual by attending all of the 8 weeks online sessions live and after completing an additional 4-hour in-person practice in the Chicago area.
Prerequisites: All are welcome with a limited number of 8 participants. A copy of the book “The Japanese Art of Reiki, A Practical Guide to Self-Healing”, by Bronwen and Frans Stiene, is required. It is available in different formats on Amazon.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Veronique is a certified Reiki Teacher/Practitioner in the Japanese lineage “Usui Reiki Ryoho”. Originally from France, Veronique has been studying and practicing Reiki in various parts of the world and settings since 2008. Aside from her private practice, Veronique has worked and volunteered in a hospital, a cancer wellness center, yoga studios, and a senior living community. She became a Reiki Teacher at the Japanese Culture Center in Chicago in 2019.Veronique has been exploring both traditional and more contemporary approaches to the practice of Reiki. She has pursued these varied interests in the US as well as in Europe, and Japan where Reiki originates from. Veronique believes in daily practice and continuing education. She is a graduate student from the International House of Reiki and the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), a professional member of Shibumi International Reiki Association, the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
