Introduction to Ikebana Flower Arrangement: 6 Week Class

We are excited to offer the next 6 Week Ikebana Course!

We are excited the return of the 6 Week Ikenobo Ikebana Course at the Japanese Culture Center!

Class begins Sunday 7/7/2024*

4:00-5:00pm Introductory Course The course fee is $220, which includes flowers and all tools required for both the course. You can take home all tools and materials after its completion to continue the practice.

There is a limited capacity of students and class minimum attendance of 10 students. Thus we highly recommend registering ASAP.

Registration 3 weeks prior to class is required in order to secure the appropriate amount of flower materials. The registration date 6/16.

Please come to class with a pencil and paper.

The class is taught by Hunter Lewis, an instructor in the Ikenobo School, who has exhibited in major Midwestern venues. A multi-media artist and designer based in Chicago, Illinois, he currently works in flower art, photography and video editing. He earned his BFA from the University of New Mexico. He has exhibited nationally, most recently in the midwest. He currently works as a senior experience designer in Chicago.
